FormFill is a browser extension that saves form-field profiles you create and fills them into web forms on your command. It has no server component, no account system and no analytics.

What data FormFill stores

FormFill stores only the data you type into it:

Where the data is stored

All data is stored locally on your device using the browser's chrome.storage.local API. It never leaves your computer.

What FormFill does not do

Permissions and why they are needed

Data retention and deletion

Your data stays until you delete it. You can remove a profile from the options page, clear every learned answer with the Forget learned answers button, or remove all FormFill data by uninstalling the extension.

Security note

Stored values are kept in the browser profile in unencrypted form, the same as other local extension data. Anyone with access to your operating-system user account can read it. Avoid storing highly sensitive values — passwords, card numbers — on shared or unsecured machines.
